The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone the site at 8072 Granville St from C-2A (Commercial) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is for an 11-storey mixed-use residential building with a building height of 46.2 m (152 ft.) and a floor space ratio (FSR) of 6.11, including 65 residential strata units, 65 hotel rooms, 3,236.8 sq. m. (34,841 sq. ft.) of office space, and 813.4 sq. m (8,755 sq. ft.) of commercial retail space. The application is being considered under the Marpole Community Plan, and the applicant has requested consideration of height and density in excess of what is envisioned in the Plan.
